Difficulties that single mothers incur and what can be done to ease their burden

A lot of things can lead to many women being single mother. Some go through divorces which are rarely amicable. Divorce causes families to split and the responsibilities of taking care of the children thus changes and due to that many women become single mothers. Others become single by choice. They decide to get a sperm donor and then they take care of the child or children by themselves. Others are single mothers because their spouses passed away and left them with sole responsibility of taking care of the children. Whatever the reason that causes women to be single is, the common factor is that taking care of the children becomes really hard. They will have to work extra hours so that hey can provide for their children, others even get second jobs so that they can be able to meet the demands of single motherhood. Starting a business would make a lot sense and would lift the burden. That is why there are grants for single mothers to start a business. People who give these grants know that the mothers who take care of their children alone get a really hard time. What would make life easier for them is if they at least had a decent source of income that will make them work less and spend more time with their children.
